iPhone 6 LCD Socket Voltages

iPhone 6  LCD Socket Voltages. If you have an iPhone 6 with display problem, check each voltages.

If ~3.8v is missing possible only FL2024 is open, other thing will be the diode D1501 and the U1502 ic

If 1.63v is missing possible only FL2050 is open, other thing will be the power ic U1202

If 1.8v is missing possible FL2036, FL2035, FL2039, FL2027 is open, other thing will be the U1502 ic, in the worsest case is the CPU U0201

If ~.06v is missing possible corresponding inductor is open, namely L2041, L2042, L2043, L2044, the worsest case is the CPU U0201

If all this voltages is present possible U1501 ic is the problem.

Samsung i9060 No Power (shorted)

How to use my power bank to detect shorted component. In a full shorted unit, capacitor is most likely the culprit. BONGGA! Watch the video below and see how the capacitor heats up.

Laptop Neo Basic BG5PL-112 Can't Power Up, But With Light Indicator

I have this Laptop Neo Basic BG5PL-112 that has orange light indicator whenever plug in to the charger, but when you press the power on key, green light will come up and after 3 seconds the green light will off.



I dismantled the unit and do the basic step, VISUAL CHECKING. And it really work hehe. After dismantling the unit, I found out that there is a liquid spill on the board. See the image below.





Cleaning it with a lacquer flow solved the problem.

ACER Travelmate B116 NoteBook No Power

ACER Travelmate B116 NoteBook can't power on. When you plug in the charger, the charger light will off. It means that there is a short to ground on charging line. See video below.




It's obvious that there is a shorted somewhere in charging section. I checked the circuit. I found that the charging path has a protective component against over voltage / current. that is the diode. I'm sure that the diode is defective. 

I lift up its one foot and check using tester. Confirmed! The diode is shorted. After removing, the laptop can be switch on now and the charging light on charger no longer shut-off.
