Acer ES1-431 No Power Successfully Revived

I have here laptop Acer ES1-431 with board id: DAZ8ADMB6D0 REV:D diagnosed as dead-short. First thing first, I carefully and slowly check all component via microscope, and I found suspected capacitor. I removed it and luckily it was the one that is shorted. I test the mother board, and the unit can able to power on but without display.

I successfully fixed the no display by flashing good bios bin file that you can download below.

Toshiba Satellite C655D Bios Password Removal

I used RT809F to flash the bios bin file.

Procedure:
  • You must have installed iOS 12.3 or up
  • Download and Run checkra1n on your device
  • open two terminal tabs
  • One: iproxy 2222 44 [device udid]
  • Two: ssh root@localhost -p 2222
  • mount -o rw,union,update /
  • rm -rf /Applications/Setup.app
  • uicache -a
  • killall backboardd
  • Done
IF NOT WORKING TRY NEXT STEPS:
  • Turn off the device.
  • Put it to DFU again.
  • Open checkra1n app and click start and wait for the device to boot.
  • When booting wait for blackscreen.
  • SSH again to iPhone.
  • uicache -a (to reset device cache)
  • killall backboardd (to reset lockdownd)
  • killall -9 SpringBoard (to safely respring device)
  • Done! You should be on homescreen

iPad 3 GSM iCloud Removal

Here are the basic steps on how to bypas icloud on iPad 3 GSM. After removing or bypassing, the iPad 3 GSM will turn to iPad 3 WiFi.

1. Dismantle the unit.

2. Carefully remove the resistor as show on the image below.


3. Assemble the unit, and expect that the unit will be in DFU mode.

4. Simple flash it to iPad 3 Wifi. I use 3UTools software.







Now its done.

Lenovo Ideapad 320 No Power Successfully Revived

I successfuly repaired this Lenovo Ideapad 320 laptop with board id NM-B242 Rev 1.0. According to customer, they used universal charger and set to 24V causing the laptop not to power on because of overvoltage.

I check for shortage using power supply but it has zero ampere. I dismantled the unit and check if there was a burnt components, but the board was clean and shinny.

I check 19V rail. I measure voltage input of the first mosfet, it has 19V. But on the output side, it has zero volt. I thought the culprit was the 2nd mosfet. But before I checked the 2nd mosfet, i disconnected the jumper PJ301. Then measured the output of the second mosfet if it has 19V. YES, it has! Therefore the problem lies on 19V rail.



So, I downloaded the schematics, and check the 19V rail. By analysing the schematic diagram under page 53, I planned to lift PQ314 hoping that this mosfet was leaking. I lifted the mosfet, then checked 19V at current resistor PR301. Huwaw!!! 19V was there! I quickly replaced PQ301 N-Channel type mosfet. Now the laptop has been revived.

How To Remove Icloud Account On iPad 3 GSM

Removing the icloud on iPad 3 GSM will disable the GSM feature. Instead, it will use as iPad wifi only. The instructions are very simple. Dismantle the iPad and remove the resistor as shown on the picture below.




After removing, the iPad must be in DFU mode. Flash it to iPad 3 wifi firmware via itunes or 3utools.
Finally, activate it and you're done.

Lenovo Ideapad 120S-14IAP No Display Successfully Repaired

The customer said that this laptop was from US, and upon receiving the unit they complained that there was no display. In my thought, maybe there was a bios program corruption. That's the reason why I flashed it on my RT805F bios programmer. See images below.

Back up first before writing.


Then write good bios bin

iPhone 6 No Power Successfully Repaired

This iPhone 6 has no power due to disconnection or shorted to ground. What I first did was by visual checking. I look at all capacitor that might have corrosion. But the board was so clean. I then use my digital tested to test the capacitors one by one by setting it to diode mode. I first check on the area where vcc is connected. To make the story short I figured out what was the bad capacitor. See image below. By removing the bad capacitor, the unit came back to life :)
