Repairing iPhone 4 No Power

History: water damage

First thing first, that is basic troubleshooting
1. Open the unit, check if grounded/shorted. Not shorted/grounded. Also check board by visual checking.
2. Replace battery and try to power it on. Still can't power on.
3. Connect usb charger to laptop and see if it connect or asking for usb driver. No reaction.
4. I always do this, remove lcd and connect it again to laptop. Finally it connect! I thought LCD set was damage. but when I replace LCD set, still it doesn't power on.
5. Analyze.... While I'm thinking I notice a heat up on power IC and other neighboring components.
6. What I did is to connect its positive and negative terminal to power supply and found out that output current is not normal when you press power on(with LCD attach)
7. But when powered it on without LCD attach, current output is normal. Aha!
8. I Immediately check the LCD connector ways and here's what I've found:

9. The 2 capacitors are shorted.. Removing these 2 fixed my problem.

Repairing Lenovo A3300-GV Not Charging And Hang Up

After removing the damage charging port pin2 and pin4 lifted, in other words it was opened circuit. If this pin2 and pin4 is open, you will not be able to reprogram the tablet. The only solution to the problem is to find the data ways. Just simply jumper it. You can see a hint on the image below for the connection. After applying the 2 jumpers the tablet can now be reprogram. I use CM2 dongle to reprogram the tablet.

Samsung S7392 Shorted Solution

Samsung S7392 that has a shorted board due to overcharging. The method I used is not very common. When you connect 1.3 voltage you must expect a capacitor heating up. But even 5 miinutes waiting, there's no capacitor that heats. So I decided to use my magic source, LOL! I used my power bank to supply a 3.8 voltage. I connect the negative terminal of my power bank to the negative battery terminal Samsung S7392. The I slowly tap the positive of my power bank to the positive terminal of the phone, and immediately one of the capacitor heats up.That's the deffective one :D I then remove the capacitor, and the shortage was gone. Hehe. Finally, jst replace it and you're done :) The cellphone was able to power on again, and back to normal.

OPPO R831K Shorted No Power Part II

It's another shorted board OPPO R831K due to overcharging. And as I have said on my post, Samsung J100ML/DS Shorted No Power Solution that not all shorted have the same solution. Like my older post on OPPO R831K shorted

This time I use the method on how to solve Samsung J100ML/DS Shorted No Power. I also use my power bank and put lacquer flow on the board. As I've expected again, I did determine the faulty component 'coz the faulty component has been boiled/burst out. Or should I say, melt? Whatever!

Just see images below. Replace it and problem solve!

Samsung J100ML/DS Shorted No Power Solution

I have here Samsung J100ML/DS Shorted No Power. The solution may vary. Because we don't know what will be the faulty component/s. My method on how to solve this Samsung J100ML/DS Shorted No Power is by using my power bank. I connect the negative terminal of my power bamk to the negative terminal of the unit. Then I put some lacquer flow on the Samsung J100ML/DS board. Then eventually I tap the positive terminal of my power bank to the positive of the board for 2 seconds. Then finally I got the faulty component. That is the capacitor as shown on the image below.
